INVITATION FOR INTERNSHIP IN OUR DIVING CENTERS FOR SUMMER 2021
We would like to offer you an internship program in our diving centers on Lesvos islands, Greece. We are offering two internship programs as following:
1.“From any-certification holder or No-Diver to Divemaster”
If you don’t have any active diving certification or you are Open Water Diver (OWD) or Advance Open Water Diver (AOWD) and you are dreaming to become a Divemaster this summer, this internship is for you. During this internship you can go through all four PADI certification courses – OWD, AOWD, Rescue diver and Divemaster. Additionally, if you finish internship with us, you will be able to involve in Instructor Diver Course (IDC) in Athens or Thessaloniki with a 50% discount.
Internship period: from 1. June until 30. September; if you have any of certifications (OWD or AOWD), the period will be shorter.
Place of internship: Haramida, Lesvos Island, Greece
Age limitation: 20 – 45 years old
Prerequisites: Knowladge in social media marketing.
We are covering: all PADI learning materials, theoretical lessons, practical lessons, PADI certification fee (Open Water, Advanced Open Water and Rescue Diver), diving equipment, boat.
We are not covering: accommodation on the island, transportation from your home to Lesvos, everyday transportation from your accommodation to our diving base in Haramida, food, PADI certification and membership fee for Divemaster.
We can help you with: finding accommodation near Haramida and giving you any other information before and during your stay.
2. “Divemaster Internship”
You are a Rescue diver (or you hold any other equivalent certification) and you want to go “deeper” with your knowledge and achieve yout first professional position in the diving community, then this internship is for you! For three months with us you will gain confidence in the management of the diving center, in diving, on the boat and in assisting other diving professionals in teaching. Additionally, on termination of this internship, you will be able to involve in Instructor Diver Course (IDC) in Athens or Thessaloniki with a 50% discount.
Internship period: from 1. July until 31. August
Place of internship: Lesvos Island, Greece
Age limitation: 20 – 45 years old
Prerequisites: Knowledge in social media marketing.
We are covering: all theoretical lessons, all practical lessons, diving equipment, boat.
We are not covering: accommodation on the island, transportation from your home to Lesvos, everyday transportation from your stay on Lesvos to our diving bases, food, PADI certification and membership fee for Divemaster.
We can help you with: finding cheap accommodation on Lesvos and giving you any other information before and during your stay.
The detailed program of the internship will be discussed on individual calls with one who is interested to participate. However, here are some general tasks that you may have:
1.) Support of the team. 2.) Diving base management. 3.) Taking care of the safety and cleanliness of the diving base. 4.) Boat management.
You’ll have a chance to:
1.) gain knowledge in diving and diving base management 2.) gain experience in teaching by assisting the instructors 3.) get to know Aegean marine environment 4.) gain competence in conducting and organizing events in diving center 5.) gain multi-cultural working experience.
